Who we are

BrickRender is a cloud GPU rendering service for BrickLink Studio. This policy covers the data collected on brickrender.cloud.

What we collect

When you sign up we collect your email address and name from the Google account you sign in with. Everything else is optional and only stored if you choose to give it to us:

• Your email address and name, from your Google account
• Your Rebrickable or BrickLink profile URL
• Your Instagram handle
• Your personal website address
• Whether you have agreed to us sharing your renders on social media, and whether you have agreed to show them in the gallery on this site — two separate settings, each off unless you turn it on
• The models you upload and the renders we produce from them

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics beyond Google Analytics 4 page view data (see below).

Why we collect it

To manage beta access, to run the renders you ask for, and to notify you about BrickRender. Your email is how we tell you your account is ready and how we send you render notifications.

Your Rebrickable, BrickLink, Instagram and website links help us understand who is in the community, and are part of how we decide who to approve from the waitlist. We do not publish them and we do not sell or share them with third parties.

Your models and the renders we make from them are yours. We use them to run the job you submitted and for nothing else — with one exception, which is entirely your choice.

Sharing your renders on social media

There is an optional setting — off unless you turn it on — that lets us feature your renders on the BrickRender social channels, currently @brickrendercloud on Instagram.

If you turn it on, we may publish an image or video you rendered and credit you by the Instagram handle you gave us. We will not publish your email address, your model files, or anything else from your account. Turning it on does not oblige us to post anything, and it does not oblige you to leave it on.

You can turn it off at any time on the account page in the app. That stops us using your renders in anything new. It cannot retract a post that has already gone out — once something is published on a social network it may already have been seen, saved or reshared by other people, and we have no way to undo that. If you want an existing post taken down, email us and we will remove what is ours to remove.

This setting covers social media only. The gallery on this site is a separate setting — see below.

Showing your renders in the gallery on this site

There is a second optional setting — off unless you turn it on — that lets us show your renders in the community gallery on brickrender.cloud. It is separate from the social setting above, in both directions: you can say yes to one and no to the other, and neither is ever read as agreement to the other.

If you turn it on, a render we pick may appear on this site with the model name, its resolution and how long it took to render, and your display name. If you gave us a website or an Instagram handle, your name may link to it. We will not publish your email address or your model files.

Turning it off takes your renders off the gallery. We check the setting every time the page is served rather than remembering what it was when we chose the render, so a withdrawal takes effect straight away and does not wait for us to publish an update to the site.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous page view data (pages visited, browser, country). No personal information is linked to analytics data. You can opt out using a GA opt-out browser extension.

Your rights

You can request to view, correct, or delete your data at any time. Contact us at hello@brickrender.cloud and we'll sort it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. We won't retroactively change how we handle data already collected without notifying you.
